Electronic imposition & CTP process

Preprint preparation centre

The electronic imposition is based on software Agfa Apogee X 3,5 Commercial with the output on CTP device Agfa Avalon XT in the size of B1 in the fully automated mode (Agfa Plate Manager). The maximal size of printing plate is 790 x 1030 mm. The second imagesetter has become AGFA AVALON N8-52 for the exposure of the thermal printing plates with the integrated punching and on-line connected call automat ELANTRIX 125 including piler. Maximal format of the printing plate is 1 160 x 940 mm.
We use digital printer Epson Stylus Pro 4880 with GMG Colorproof software for print of digital proofs. The big size digital prints are made on Epson Stylus Pro 7600, 9400 and 9600.

DTP and Graphics Studio

The processing of the text and graphical sources from early design till the layout data ready for print. Graphics studio is the part of printing house and thanks to the close cooperation with the production department we are able to ensure effective job processing. Studio´s activities were many times awarded.

The equipment of the Graphics Studio:

  • Composition and graphics: QuarkXPress 8, InDesign CS3, CorelDraw X3, Illustrator 10 all on PC
  • Picture editing: Photoshop with the professional LCD panel EIZO CG21 with Eye-One Display colorimetr
  • Scanning: flat scaner Canon (slide, negative, photograph etc. - format A4)

Offset printing, screening, digital printing

Printing centre Heidelberg Anicolor

The printing house is equipped with the sheet fed offset printing machines of the maximum size of 1020 x 720 mm and the silk-screen printer (maximum size 1070 x 765 mm).
